Mari Calai

Born and raised in Romania, and for the later part of her life living abroad from Italy, to the United States and South Korea, Mari has been traveling the world exploring life’s fleeting moments, the magic present at every corner, but also life’s challenges. She studied photography at The New York Institute of Photography, and she is an international award-winning photographer and an avid painter with her most recent exhibitions in Seoul, S. Korea, New York City, and Washington D.C. area. Mari’s work is sublime and marked by a nostalgic realism. Her works are held in private collections all around the world.
